Ni-Dai Soke Craig Hamm, President
"White Tiger"
First and foremost all the accomplishments that I have been blessed with come from my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For if it wasn’t for his Grace and my Faith I would not be able to reach and present God’s Word to the people in this world. The Glory for everything I do goes to the Lord and not to me.
My quest started with martial arts in 1980 studying Shotokan Karate under the direction of Shihan Jim Baize. I 1985, I trained for about 6 months in Wado-Ryu Karate under Bill Taylor and in United States Taekwondo Federation under Brad Whitlow for about a year while in college. In 1989, I started training in Pasaryu Taekwondo under Grandmaster Kang Rhee and some of his instructors; Kwang Jang Nim David Crawford, Kwang Jang Nim O.D. Harris, Kwang Jang Nim See Sun Vu. During this same time my Hapkido training started with Kwang Jang Nim O.D. Harris. In 1997, I began training with Hanshi Tony Chester and Shihan Vic Milner and Shihan Steve Patton – founder of the Kagaisha Kansei Ryu System and Budoshin Kenpo Jutsu System until his untimely passing in 2003. Then in 1999 my training took a turn into deeper study of the arts of Pre-1900 Karate-Jutsu with Hanshi Tony Chester - Founder of the United Budoshin-Kai Culture. In 2000, my martial arts training was added to when I meet and began training with Hanshi Larry Ingle - Founder of the Western Malay Kickboxing System (Muay Thai, Submission Grappling and Kickboxing) and Ni-Dai Soke of Namido Jujitsu Mike Frazier in Judo and Jujitsu . Some of the other martial arts masters that I have trained, attended seminars or worked out with over the years are O’Sensei Phillip Porter - Judo, Professor Luiz Palahares - Brazilian Jui-jitsu, Kyoshi Eli McCoy - Kyushu-jutsu, Master Hidetaka Nishiyama - Shotokan Karate, Grandmaster Mike Stone – Karate, Master Jeff Speakman - Kenpo Karate, UFC Middleweight Champion and Co-founder of the Brazilian Top Team Murlio Bustamante - Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Grandmaster Kwang Sik Myung - Hapkido and KFCI President Dr. Daryl Covington in Hapkido.
In 2003, the culmination of all the arts that I had been training in (Shotokan Karate, Pasaryu Taekwondo, Hapkido, American Kenpo, Judo, Jujitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Submission Grappling/Brazilian Jui-jitsu) since 1980 into the recognized Christian Martial Arts system of Budoshin White Tiger Hapkido.
