Shihan Michael Frazier has trained in the arts since 1979 under Hanshi Larry Ingle. Shotokan was his mother art, but he has always cross trained in Judo, Jujitsu, and Kickboxing. Shihan Frazier is the Ni-dai Soke of the Namido Jujitsu System and inheritor of the Namido Martial Arts Yudanshakai. Shihan Frazier is the Head Instructor of the Morton Church of God Martial arts Academy in Morton Ms. where he serves as the Associate Pastor and Kids Pastor. Shihan Frazier has a Bachelors degree in Biblical Studies with a minor in Christian Counseling and is currently working on his Master of Divinity. Shihan Frazier has conducted seminars through out the United States as well as Trinidad, West Indies. Shihan Frazier has a wife Stacey, daughter Carlie and son Joshua who all train in the arts. Shihan Frazier was a coach for the United States Martial Arts Team in Cancun, Mx. in 2003, where he had two students win world championship status in five divisions. Shihan Frazier has also coached one of his students to hold a title belt in the MMA arena in Mississippi. Shihan Frazier is an inspector with the State Athletic Commission and also judges many MMA, boxing and kickboxing matches through out his state. Shihan Frazier is a former Police Officer and has trained many officers and has worked along with different SWAT teams in close quarter hand to hand techniques.
